When I saw that three of the businesses we’ve blogged about were coming together for a First Thursday fashion show, I knew I had to be there! Last week, Leanna NYC, Be-Smooth, and Popina all teamed up for a fashion show on First Thursday in the Pearl and I was there to witness it.
The show was held at Leanna’s store on NW 12th and Flanders, and there were catered treats, pretty models, and fabulous clothes. Sweets were provided by One Divine Party and Dinner At Your Door. Models strutted down the winding catwalk displaying the latest fashions from Leanna, bathing suits from Popina, and Miravidi jewelry and organic spray tans from Be-Smooth. Hair was done by Tribe Hair Studio on NW 19th, and makeup was done by the ladies at Be-Smooth. Leanna and Helene (of Be-Smooth) announced the show and did a wonderful job putting everything together.
