Lately the Pearl District has been fortunate enough to welcome a few lovely boutiques to the neighborhood. Each one has a different feel and style, which in turns adds to the retail diversity of this area.

House of Lolo

Located in the Brewery Blocks at NW 10th and Couch, this fun store has all the latest styles, with fabulous accessories and decor to match. The look is trendy casual, with some beautiful going out dresses thrown in as well. They sell jewelry and handbags and carry well known brands such as Agave Denim, Daniel Rainn, and House of Harlow. With beautiful displays, colorful dressing rooms, and bouquets of fresh flowers, taking a trip to House of Lolo is like a wonderful visual vacation! Check out their facebook for updates on new merchandise and sales.

Silkwood

Silkwood, located on NW 11th Ave in between Marshall and Lovejoy is owned by Sandy Varzarschi, who also owns the original location in downtown Lake Oswego. Sandy chose the Pearl District for a second location because she felt it “suits the idea of a freedom to be yourself with ease.” Sandy describes Silkwood’s style aesthetic as “creative, beautiful, you.” The store carries contemporary chic clothing, accessories, shoes, bags, and clothes and accessories for children. The store focuses on lovely fabrics, affordable prices, and a great variety. One of their best sellers is a linen pant by Hardtail — flattering fit and great detailing. For more info check out Silkwood’s website and facebook page!

Eden

Eden was brought to the Pearl District by owner Cindy Rokoff, who opened Flutter on NE Mississippi Ave. After that store more than doubled in size, she decided to bring her part vintage/part new art nouveau style to the Pearl — right next door to her friend’s store, Porch Light, on NW 11th and Everett. This vibrant store stocks apothecary items, jewelry, books, apparel and unique home accessories. Learn more about Eden on their website or follow along on their facebook as well. But make sure you visit the store in person since there is nothing like it in the area!

We are excited about all of the new additions to the Pearl and hope you get the chance to check them out for yourself! If you’ve already been to these shops and want to share a great find or tip, please post a comment below!
